DESIGNED IN BROOKLYN, WORN EVERYWHERE
We make the denim you actually wear every day.
DNK Apparel is a Brooklyn outfit making jeans, sneakers, tees, hoodies and a small line of bags, purses and bracelets, cut and packed by the same small team, then shipped across the US and to more than 50 countries, usually within a day of checkout.
OUR STORY
Every pair starts at a cutting table on Wythe Ave.
DNK Apparel started in a walk-up two blocks from the Williamsburg waterfront, with one sewing machine and a stack of raw denim nobody else wanted. We weren't trying to build a label. We wanted jeans that fit the way we move, sneakers that didn't fall apart by spring, and tees that held their shape past the first wash. Everything else came later, built the same way: slow, stubborn, and only when we were sure it earned a place in the shop.
The range grew the way a closet grows. Jeans came first, because that's what we knew best, pocket by pocket, seam by seam. Tees and hoodies followed, for the days jeans needed a partner and the mornings called for something warmer. Sneakers came next, built for walking the same four subway stops twice a day, rain or shine. Bags, purses and bracelets rounded it out, small runs made to match whatever was already on the rack, never mass produced just to fill a shelf. We still make small batches today, not huge drops, so nothing sits unsold and nothing feels mass produced.
The moment that stuck with us: the first box we packed for a customer outside the country. We stood at the same cutting table we'd used all week, taping the flaps shut by hand because we didn't own a tape gun yet. It shipped the next morning. It still does, no matter where it's headed, whether that's three states over or three oceans away.
That's still how we run it. Every order gets packed and shipped from Brooklyn within one business day, by the same hands that cut the fabric. US orders over $100 ship free, no minimum tricks, no fine print. If something doesn't fit or isn't right, send it back within 30 days and we'll make it right, no argument and no restocking fee buried in the return. Nothing about that is a promotion that disappears after a holiday weekend. It's just how the shop runs, every week, year round.
We're not chasing seasons or trends we don't believe in. We make what we'd wear ourselves, season after season, in a shop where every checkout is encrypted end to end and every order is tracked from our door to yours. Fifty countries and counting have a box from this address on their doorstep. Brooklyn's still where it starts. That's the whole pitch: Brooklyn-made basics, shipped properly, backed by people who still pack the boxes themselves.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
We keep it simple, and we keep our word.
Four things we don't cut corners on, order after order, whether it's a $20 bracelet or a full denim restock.
See the full shopPacked and gone within a day
Every order leaves our Brooklyn workshop within one business day of checkout, no matter how small the order or how late it came in. The same crew that cut your denim prints the label and seals the box.
Tracked, coast to coast and overseas
Fast, tracked delivery across the US and to more than 50 countries, so you know exactly where your order is from the moment it leaves Wythe Ave to the morning it lands on your step.
Free returns, 30 days, no argument
Didn't fit, didn't work out, changed your mind. Send it back free within 30 days and we'll sort it, no restocking fee and no run-around on the phone.
Checkout locked down end to end
Every payment is encrypted end to end, so your card details stay yours from the second you hit buy to the second the package ships.
THE TEAM
No department. Just the people cutting, stitching and packing.
There's no department upstairs and a warehouse somewhere else. The same small crew that cuts the denim checks the stitching, boxes the order and prints the label. If a hem's crooked, the person who sewed it is the person who catches it before it ships, not a quality team three buildings away.
We hire for care over speed, then we get fast anyway, because the work stays close and nobody's waiting on an email from another floor. A pair of our DNK Yellow Shoes, rated 5.00 out of 5 by the people wearing them, goes through the same hands as the hoodie you bought last winter and the bracelet you added at checkout. That's on purpose.
It's the only way we know to keep the quality the same, order one thousand or order one. You're not buying from a brand with a name on the label and nobody behind it. You're buying from the four or five people who were standing at the table when your order left Brooklyn. That's not a sales line. Walk into the shop on Wythe Ave and you'll likely meet the person who made what you're holding.
